REED Early Intervention

REED Early Intervention

“Research shows that receiving early intervention services based on the science of applied behavior analysis, before the age of 2, significantly impacts a child with an autism diagnosis. Our goal is to reach children at the earliest stage of the diagnosis in order to teach them the necessary skills to be lifelong learners.”

Kim Donaghy, MA, BCBA

Director of Early Intervention

The right start for your child

With REED’s Early Intervention Program, newly-diagnosed children get a jump start on the crucial learning skills they need to grow and thrive.

Our program was established after more than a decade of deep clinical expertise in teaching individuals with autism ages 3 to 21.  As with REED Academy, our Early Intervention services are guided by the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), the gold standard of teaching individuals on the autism spectrum. Our ABA-trained clinicians focus on each child’s strengths and challenges, to drive meaningful behavior change and motivate each child to be curious about the world around them. We also focus on language, communication, and social skills.

OUR EARLY INTERVENTION PROGRAM OFFERS:

  • Individualized programming based on the science of ABA
  • Ongoing assessment of individual progress (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R)
  • Transition planning and support
  • Intensive ABA training for families and caregivers
  • Online data collection system allowing parental access
  • Collaboration with other professionals (e.g., SLP, PT, OT)
